GRADS (Genomic Research in Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and Sarcoidosis) is a research study that addresses two under-recognized lung diseases: Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD) and Sarcoidosis. GRADS is a national, coordinated effort with nine clinical centers.
The results of GRADS will be an important step towards personalized treatment of chronic lung diseases.
